Home/Factory acceptance testing

Tested before delivery.
Documented for confidence.

Logicart verifies panels through a documented, project-specific FAT and quality-control process, with recorded results and customer witnessing where required.

A practical proof of panel performance

Factory acceptance testing brings the drawings, electrical construction, control logic and operating sequence together before delivery. It helps identify issues earlier and gives the project team a structured basis for acceptance.

Our FAT is documented around the actual panel design and agreed project requirements—not treated as a generic checkbox exercise.

How the panel is verified

01

Document review & inspection

We compare the assembled panel with approved drawings, component schedules, labelling and workmanship requirements so visible deviations can be resolved before energisation.

02

Electrical safety & power checks

Applicable continuity, insulation, control-supply, voltage and power-up checks establish a safe basis for functional testing and record the measured results.

03

Functional & interlock verification

PLC I/O, sequences, indications, alarms, interlocks and project-fitted starter functions are operated against the intended control philosophy.

04

Recorded acceptance & handover

Readings, observations and acceptance results are captured, with tester and customer-witness sign-off where required, creating a usable project record.

Typical test coverage

The following capabilities are selected and documented according to the panel design and agreed FAT procedure.

01

Insulation & dielectric strength

Insulation-resistance measurement and project-specified dielectric-strength tests confirm the applicable electrical integrity requirements.

02

Power & protection

Continuity, voltage, power-up, busbar, protection and control-supply checks confirm correct assembly and expected electrical conditions.

03

Automation functions

PLC I/O, operating sequences, HMI or mimic displays, indications, alarms and interlocks are verified against the project logic.

04

Controllers & starters

Project-fitted controllers and DOL, star-delta, autotransformer and VFD starter functions are exercised where applicable.

05

Recorded deliverables

Test readings, acceptance results and tester or customer-witness sign-off are retained where required by the project.

06

Clear exceptions

Outstanding items, agreed limitations and non-applicable checks are identified so the record reflects what was actually verified.

FAT coverage is defined by the panel design, project scope and agreed test procedure. Tests that are not applicable are identified in the project records rather than represented as completed.

Registered manufacture. Documented verification.

Testing capability complements Logicart's registered low-voltage switchboard manufacturing scope and competent-person support.
